Xiao “Lynn” Fang is currently the Corner of the Cave Media Company's editorial intern. Xiao was born in the northwestern city of Harbin, China, before moving to Shanghai in 2003. Four years later, she pursued acting at Communication University of China in Beijing. While a student there, Xiao performed and starred in different stage plays but soon fell in love with journalism while interning at a local TV station.

To pursue and nurture her new passion, Xiao decided to study in the United States and persue a master's degree in Broadcasting Journalism at the University of Miami. In July 2013, Xiao was among 10 students chosen by U of M’s visual journalism course to trek to South Africa to film a short-form documentary on the post-apartheid environment in South Africa.

She is currently working on her final project,The Left Turn, which is a 26-minute documentary about Empowered Youth Inc., a nonprofit organization that helps inner city youth who have spent time in the juvenile justice system get their lives back on track.
